Reactivity Course

Download a copy of the Dog Behavior Journal and start tracking your dog’s on-leash reactions. The more data we have, the better! Over the training process, we should see the frequency and intensity of the reactivity reduce. 

 

In the journal, you will see the stress scale. This explains body language to help categorize how your dog is feeling. When your dog is underthreshold they are able to think clearly and make new associations. This is where training should be taking place. When your dog is overthreshold they are experiencing stress, frustration, or fear in levels high enough to
